Who is responsible
GLAMMBOX is responsible for the personal information provided through this website. The Contact page shows whether private inquiries are available. Personal destination addresses are not published.
What we collect, why, and where it lives
The private inquiry form asks for your name, reply email, message and consent to a reply. Sending is disabled when the service is unavailable. In that state, the form does not submit your message. Do not include sensitive information.
- Collected: your name, your email address, and the message you write.
- Why: to read the request and reply. That is the only purpose.
- When unavailable: entered details remain in this page until you leave or clear them; they are not saved in browser storage.
- How long: as long as needed to answer and keep a working record of the conversation, then deleted when it is no longer useful. We do not keep a marketing list.
When the service is available, an inquiry is acknowledged only after private receipt is confirmed. A received reference does not mean that a person has read it. If reception is uncertain, keep the same request for a retry rather than assuming it was not received.
Jarvis, the on-site agent
Jarvis voice and chat are currently unavailable on this website. No voice session starts from this page. The public helper’s approved knowledge covers published GLAMMBOX work only; private personal facts, internal operations and other visitors’ messages are excluded. A conversation is not an inquiry receipt.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set tracking cookies. It does not run a third-party analytics pixel. Two keys may be saved in your browser’s localStorage, on your device only: gbx-lang (English or French) and gbx-on-air (what is playing on the radio page, so it can keep playing as you move around). That is local storage, not a cookie, and it never leaves your browser unless you copy it. You can clear it anytime in your browser settings. The address bar also carries ?lang=en or ?lang=fr so a link can open in that language.
Your rights
Under Law 25 you may, in plain words:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
- Withdraw consent and ask us to stop using it, including deleting an email you sent.
- Ask for a copy in a common computer format (the portability right, in force since 22 September 2024).
- Ask us to stop spreading it, or to drop a link that harms you, when the law allows.
Use the Contact page for a privacy request when its private service is available, and state what you are requesting. If unavailable, no request can be submitted through that form. You may also consult the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI).
If something goes wrong
A confidentiality incident is when personal information is lost, stolen, or seen by someone who should not see it. If that happens and there is a risk of serious harm, Law 25 says we must tell the CAI and the people concerned, keep a register of incidents, and take steps to reduce the harm. Use the Contact page when available if you think an incident happened.
Minors
We do not ask children under 14 for personal information. If a parent or guardian believes a child sent us a message, use the Contact page when available to request deletion.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and this page is the notice. The honest version is always this URL.
