The Hacker News, 15 August: a maximum-severity flaw in SAP Commerce Cloud is seeing active exploitation. CVE-2026-58231 is rated 10.0. Insufficient authorization checks and input validation. An unauthenticated attacker can abuse a default authentication client and submit crafted input to functions that do not validate enough.
Successful exploitation can mean arbitrary code execution and a compromise of internal components — confidentiality, integrity, availability. Defused Cyber said honeypot hits began three days after the patch. They also said there is no public proof-of-concept and the bug was not previously known to be exploited.
The Netherlands NCSC warned that a patched Apple macOS flaw is under active exploitation to deploy a cryptocurrency miner. CVE-2026-65400, CVSS 9.8: an authentication issue in Screen Sharing. An attacker already on the network can authenticate to the built-in remote desktop without valid credentials.
